Pregnancy Reflexology

The pregnant body undergoes a myriad of changes to cater for the growing baby. Every system is affected and so for the health of an expectant mother and her baby steps are taken to ensure everything is kept in balance.

Pregnancy is a time when you and your baby need to be nurtured and cherished.

Reflexology can help with pregnancy-related conditions including:

  • Nausea
  • Backache
  • Constipation
  • Poor circulation
  • Swollen ankles (oedema)
  • Symphysis pubis discomfort
  • High or low blood pressure
  • Fatigue
  • Headaches
  • Anxiety and other pregnancy issues.

Treatments are especially useful towards the end of pregnancy in preparation for birth. Overdue dates and stalled labour can prove to be anxious times. By relaxing mother and baby, and by stimulating particular reflexes, labour often continues naturally.
